XTA DP226 – 2 Input / 6 Output Loudspeaker Management Processor
The XTA DP226 is a compact yet powerfully capable DSP rack unit designed for scenarios requiring two input sources feeding up to six independent output channels. Tailored for live sound, installed audio, and multi-zone applications, it delivers transparent audio performance with precise routing, EQ, delay, and protection controls—all within a sturdy 1U chassis.
Audio & Processing Engine
-
Dual balanced inputs configurable as analog or optional AES/EBU digital sources
-
Six balanced outputs, also configurable as analog or optional AES/EBU
-
High-performance 24-bit converters and 96 kHz internal processing ensure clean signal integrity with extended frequency reproduction
-
Designed for a dynamic range exceeding 110 dB, with very low distortion for accurate audio delivery
-
Flexible routing allows any input to feed any combination of outputs via preset or custom crossover modes
Flexible Crossover Configurations
Out of the box, DP226 supports five standard crossover formats:
-
Dual stereo setups with two 2-way outputs per input
-
Two 3-way outputs per input
-
Pure 4-way, 5-way, or full six-way configurations
These presets simplify setup while remaining fully adjustable for custom arrangements.
Input Channel Processing
-
Gain control and base delay on each input
-
Eight fully parametric EQ bands per input, offering very fine resolution (1/36‑octave steps) and wide Q range
-
Parametric filters support multiple curve types—such as bell, notch, shelf, all‑pass, and elliptical—allowing precise tonal shaping
Output Channel Processing
-
Each output includes a fully featured limiter with adjustable threshold, attack, and release parameters
-
High‑pass and low‑pass filters available on every output, with slope options of 12, 18, or 24 dB per octave and available curves: Butterworth, Bessel, or Linkwitz‑Riley
-
Five parametric EQ bands per output with fine-tuning in 0.1 dB increments
-
Independent delay (up to 650 ms with 2.6‑µs resolution), mute control, polarity switch, and gain trim
User Interface & Remote Management
-
Large backlit LCD display alongside three rotary encoders enable intuitive real‑time control
-
Front-panel Tactile keys provide quick access to input/output metering, mute, and gain adjustments
-
Built-in memory storage for up to 40 user presets, lockable for secure operation
-
Remote control functionality via MIDI, RS‑232, RS‑485, and supported by dedicated control software for PC
